Flyers and promotional material has been part of the agencies heritage at a period between 2001 and 2005 where the nightclub industry thrived,
especially in the city of Manchester. It had got to a stratosphere level where a handful of heavyweight promoters in an unregulated industry
became borderline millionaires just solely on the sheer amount of weekly student events they were putting on up and down the country.
The best examples of the day were Come Play, Taking Liberties, Cool It and Rough Hill.
A few design agencies also started from this path to transforming into full fledging Design and Advertising agencies,
which includes Studio Output and LOVE Creative.
Twelve Years later, times have changed and since we've generally moved away from the scene and taking on that type of creative, we decided to go into the vault and select 100 of some of our favourite and memorial flyer designs; that defined our early style and differentiation between us and the typical design agency. It also shows how over the years how the style and art of the flyers eventually not dictate the actual music policy of the actual event. It would be interesting to note that some of the work below landed us in copyright infringement issues and some put us in the radar of international brands that we are working with today.
